The main responsibilities of the Cruise Program Administrator are to provide administrative and clerical services as requested by the Cruise Director, as well as prepare and maintain schedules and reports as needed throughout the voyage. This position will also act as liaison for all weddings that are scheduled to occur onboard.

Cruise Staff members coordinate and participate in passenger activities such as bingo, arts and crafts, masquerade, horse racing, and sport activities. The Cruise Staff is responsible in ensuring that passengers have a fun-filled cruise experience. Cruise Staff also participate in duties such as directing guests to and from their cabins; answering any questions guests may have; assisting in compulsory lifeboat and safety drills; staff introductions; coordinating the flow of passengers through reception lines at different events; coordinating tour departures. A Cruise Staff show may be an essential part of the fun-filled cruise requiring talented staff members.

The Disc/Video Jockey works in the ship's Night Club playing "top 40's" music and videos, as well as performing cruise staff duties when assigned. The employee must provide excellent customer service accommodating all passenger requests. The Disc Jockey may also be required to be Master of Ceremonies for various activities on board the ship. In addition the Disc Jockey is responsible for maintaining and operating all required equipment and maintain an inventory of the music collection.
Minimum requirements: Previous experience as a Disc/Video Jockey with knowledge of Top 40 music, as well as music from the 50's to the 90's.

The florist must create and maintain flower arrangements onboard the ship as well as the maintain all plants onboard. He/she must also operate flower stand, sell flowers to guests or take orders for delivery to guest cabins. During each cruise, they must conduct a floral arrangement demonstration seminar for guests.

The Group Coordinator is a key contact aboard the ship for VIP group leaders and passengers with special needs. The basis of this job is to coordinate and ensure that all group functions onboard the vessel proceed smoothly, professionally and efficiently. The Group Coordinator works directly under the Hotel Manager and coordinates with all department heads, managers and supervisors to ensure that all functions proceed smoothly with the groups on board.

The Guest Relations Officer is responsible for ensuring the guest receives total passenger satisfaction. You must be capable of handling all complaints and problems to the guest's satisfaction. Duties and responsibilities include sales of stamps, postcards, and executing foreign exchange; signing up guests for all galley tour visits; registering repeaters, VIP, and travel agent parties and forwarding all invitations to the guests; maintaining lost and found area and records; reporting any cabin change requests; solving any guest complaints or problems; making ship announcements in several languages as directed; validating guest's Credit Card for all ship purchases; cashing traveler checks and handling currency after banking hours.

The Host/Hostess is the public relations liaison between the guests and the cruise lines. This position entails being familiar with the company, management and all corporate methods and procedures. Responsibilities include acting as the Captain's social coordinator; arranging attendance for the Captain's cocktail party; supervising and maintaining the guest library; organizing various activities.

The position involves working both on board a ship and on a private island. You are paid in U.S. Dollars and receive excellent benefits. You will be required to pass a physical ability test, which consists of the following:

The Purser is a key "front line" contact for the passenger. Duties are similar to those at the front desk of a fine hotel. The Purser must provide total customer satisfaction. Duties include giving information, foreign exchange, handling customer complaints and inquiries, cabin changes, lost and found, safety deposit boxes, assisting with customs and immigration.

The Shore Excursion Department is responsible for selling the various excursions to the passengers. The Shore Excursion staff also provides tour talks for each port of call. Other responsibilities include some accounting and bookkeeping; coordinating tours with tour operators.

Slot Technicians are responsible for seeing that slot machines, moneychangers, coin-handling equipment and video games are functional, well maintained and regularly serviced. In addition you will provide customer service assistance to passengers, explaining games and jackpot payouts; a strong "floor presence" is necessary. Slot technicians are responsible for efficiently assisting the head slot technician to ensure all machines are functional and ready for play.

The Sports Staff members provide all fitness and sports activities for passengers. Sports Staff members must have rock wall climbing experience and will work at the rock wall, belaying guests who are climbing. Additional Cruise Staff duties will apply.

The primary function of the Stage Staff is to support and supplement Cruise Staff activities and entertainment programs as administered by the Assistant Cruise Director or Stage Manager. Stage Staff duties include set up and break down of various events such as: Bingorama sessions, Horse Racing, Sports Award presentations, various musical band presentations, group meeting, theme night productions, etc.
Stage Staff operate the spot lights for the production shows, celebrity star times, Cruise Staff Welcome and Farewell shows and show band presentations as required. Stage Staff stock and maintain a working inventory in the various prize lockers, assist with the monthly loading and stocking of all Cruise Staff supplies from shore side, deliver and distribute all departmental paperwork such as memos and mail.
Minimum requirements: Previous experience in set-ups/break-downs of musical events. Basic technical knowledge needed in the areas of spotlights, scenery and props.

The sound and lighting technicians are responsible for providing professional sound and light support for the onboard entertainment shows and other passenger activities. He/she sets up, runs and maintains the sound/light equipment and may also run in-house video equipment if a video technician is not available.
The Sound Technician must have experience in mixing, from a front of house position, main sound plus monitor mixes simultaneously, must be able to work with multiple wireless microphones, must be able to troubleshoot and execute minor repairs of broken equipment. The Sound Technician should be able to mix all types of music – from Broadway-type musicals to rock to big band.
Lighting Technicians must have the ability and experience to program and run various types of lighting consoles including ETC and Whole Hog, must have experience with intelligent lighting, and should be able to troubleshoot and maintain a professional rig. Design experience a plus.
Riggers are responsible for maintaining all aspects of theatrical rigging systems including: motors, cables, hoists, tracks, drums, stage lifts and programming of PC/PLC based automated systems. Must be able to operate, troubleshoot and maintain all aspects of computerized, motorized and manual rigging systems.
Minimum requirements: All technicians should have a minimum of two (2) years technical experience in a professional environment. Must be proficient in all aspects of their particular field. Some knowledge of the other areas of technical theater helpful.

The Videographer is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the ship's broadcast room. This includes the operation of the satellite, programming the broadcast room such as playing of movies, tuning in local TV and radio, updating the Comsat news service, in-room music and the dining room when necessary. The videographer is also responsible for shooting and editing videotapes for both onboard productions and fleet wide training tapes. The videographer may be asked to travel to do on location shoots for the above.
The Videographer must have experience and ability in troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing video walls, creating custom video walls programs for star acts, groups, etc. creating graphics for the cruise events and information channel, video tape editing in various formats, videography in field and studio situations, live TV directing, call and switch live multiple camera programs, an understanding of satellite broadcasting and tracking and an understanding of computers with respect to video production.
Minimum requirements: A VHS demo tape is required from all applicants of previous work (inclusive of shooting, editing and post-production). Two years experience in a professional environment needed. Strong shooting skills required as well as strong editing skills. Experience in a television station helpful.

Youth Staff members coordinate, implement and encourage participation in a wide array of fun and interesting onboard activities for children ages 3 to 17 usually divided by age groups. Activities can include games, contests, scavenger hunts, sports and fitness instruction, arts and crafts and theme parties. They also provide supervision in designated areas while parents are enjoying activities. Children are supervised by Youth Staff at all times during attendance in the program. Youth Staff may also be required to assist with Cruise Staff activities.
Minimum requirements: University degree required as well as a strong background in dealing with children in a recreational setting such as camp or daycare.
